Hello everyone! My name is Chris Federmann and I'm the Market Center Tech Trainer for the Lafayette, IN branch of KW!

I grew up in Dillsboro, IN until I went off to Greencastle, IN for college at DePauw University. I earned a BA in Computer Science with a minor in English. After graduating I quickly realized that I wanted to pivot from CS to a tech career that also let me interact with people more often. That's when Chris Federmann, IT guy, was born!

My first IT job was as the IT Coordinator for Westminster Village, which I did for 6 years. During that time my main role was to provide Tier 1 IT support for the whole facility, residents and staff alike. I also helped out in a wider variety of ways like introducing and managing a widely-used community app, consulting on bigger IT projects for the facility, and even starring in Christmas theater productions!

Outside of my career, I take care of my two cats, Merlin and Zelda. I also enjoy going on adventures with my friends around the local area, going on thrifting trips, and exploring nature trails.

I also enjoy watching sports/movies/tv shows, playing video games, listening to spooky podcasts, and learning about something new.
